My 3-year-old son is currently diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay. We’ve spent the last two years going from doctor to doctor having various tests performed...always looking for solutions to help with his many issues. He has also been receiving speech, occupational, and physical therapy during this time through the TEIS system, but it ended in March when he turned 3 which left me seeking new therapists. My mother had been giving me articles from Health and Wellness magazine written by Dr. Pryor. I found the changes she had created in her patients to be remarkable and decided to give it a try in spite of the hour-long drive each way. Dr. Pryor was able to make significant changes in my son during our first visit there. She completely changed the gait of his walk which is something he has struggled with since learning to walk. Dr. Pryor spends time teaching me what activities I can do at home to help further my son’s progress. I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with her treatment and his resulting progress. The decision to take my son to see Dr. Pryor is one of the best decisions I’ve made. I would highly recommend her to anyone with most any type of problem and especially for children with developmental issues.

I would personally like to thank Karen Pryor PhD, PT for speaking at our recent meeting for Health & Wellness Magazine. Over 70 people attended this meeting and Karen is such a dynamic, entertaining, provocative speaker. Learning about her research with helping children with disabilities as well as adults recover from accidents is truly remarkable.

The audience was like a group of "human sponges" asking for more information on her work. We have asked Karen to write articles in Health & Wellness Magazine on a regular basis. Karen is compassionate and open and sharing. She responded to the audience and answered questions directly and sincerely. I do not recall a standing ovation for a speaker at these meetings in the past-Karen got it and deserved it! She is exceptional!

Karen Pryor truly epitomizes the power in the balance of effectively utilizing right and left brain communication as she brilliantly engages her patients and public audiences alike. Her humorous style (this woman is funny folks!!), intuitive abilities and immense holistic skill set all interweave beautifully to absolutely meet each person exactly where they are. Karen has opened herself to being a genuine healing force on this planet because she lives authentically and encourages others to do the same. As a result, countless lives are changed. Don't miss an opportunity to learn from this refreshingly unpretentious "force" who creates an atmosphere where learning will be as effortless as the laughter she brings to your life!

My daughter, Sarah Kate was diagnosed with Plantar's Faciatis last year. Because I suffered with it myself a few years ago, I almost despaired when my 11 year old developed it. Because Sarah Kate takes three dance classes a week and loves it, I just couldn't imagine how we were going to get that foot well and since I had the cortisone shot in my heel and it was extremely painful I did not want that for her.

Karen took an integrative approach combining traditional ultrasound and stretches and then altering her diet to bring down the inflammation in her body naturally. She also looked at the sole of Sarah Kate's shoes and built up the arches in her shoes so she had better support. That child's foot healed remarkably quickly and Karen took the time to make it interesting and fun for her to visit. I have since recommended Karen to everyone I have met who has plantar's faciatis. I haven't found her integrative approach anywhere here in Nashville and I feel confident in recommending her to my friends.

I want to take this opportunity to say what a great job Karen Pryor did speaking at the Smyrna Senior Citizens Center at their monthly brunch held at Mayfield Rehab and Special Care. There was a great deal of feedback about her presentation and what she had to say about health and awareness for any age person. I would encourage you to invite her to speak to your group. We look forward to having her return to our facility in the future.
